About Me
Milton Keynes - the shining beacon of roundabouts and concrete! Yes, that’s right, I’m a UK screenwriter hailing from the glamorous urban mass of grey that is MK. It’s a great backdrop for a dystopian bleak screenplay. I’m married (still amazed how she puts up with me), have two grown-up daughters who are doing fantastically (despite my best efforts), and a dog who is the only one in the household that listens to me! I’m blessed at the end of the day and to be honest, what more could a bloke ask for? Other than some more parking spaces at the City Centre.
Now, over the last few years, I’ve been building a portfolio of screenplays that span various genres. Think of it as a “pick 'n mix” of cinematic delights - some sweet, some bitter, some will leave you questioning your life choices. I use this little corner of the internet to showcase my twisted imagination. My speciality? Darker and more thought provoking projects. The kind of stories that make you laugh, cry, and possibly question if you need therapy. My work has more emotional ups and downs than a kangaroo, in an earthquake, on a pogo stick. For those who care about credentials, I’m a card-carrying member of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain (W.G.G.B.). Yes, I have that special, shiny card. ​​

Experience
Here’s the fun part, I’ve spent years lurking in the shadows as a ghostwriter. That’s right, I’ve written screenplays for others while hiding under the heavy cloak of NDA's, and no writers credits! Last year, I actually stepped out of the shadows (for a change) to work as a Co-Producer and Graphic Designer on the film Broken Innocence for Cut to the Chase Productions. And let me tell you, producing can be as challenging as selling lawnmowers at the North Pole! I’ve written eight features, four shorts, and working on an 8 episode TV mini-series costing me blood, sweat and probably a few tears. Now, I’m ready to strike out on my own, free from the shackles of other people's ideas. Watch out world, it’s just me, my laptop, an overactive mind, and a folder full of amazing and intriguing storylines.
Education
​For those wondering about my academic background in screenwriting - well, I didn’t bother with that. I didn’t study it in school or college, too busy doing all the things I shouldn’t have back then. Instead, I’ve taken the DIY approach, reading other screenplays like a madman and attending various screenwriting courses at Euroscript in London. I was blessed with story writing tuition and screenplay training from Industry professional Ian Long, who really knows his stuff. I also received training from the amazing Anji Lowman Field, who’s worked on top UK shows like Doctors, EastEnders, and Holby City. On top of this, I have also been mentored by, and worked with, Devorah (Devo) Cutler, a former Hollywood Exec and an award winning Producer, Screenwriter, Mentor, Educator and Public Speaker.
So, if you’re wondering whether I’ve learned from the best - yes, I have. And now here I am, ready to take on the world of screenwriting, armed with my warped sense of humour, a creative mind and a portfolio that’ll either blow your mind or confuse the hell out of it. However, my goal is to make you want more, read more, and feel the emotion. Happy reading.
